Another April A to Z Challenge starring Schooner (though Choppy still gets to play an important role as well).

Ah! The cat has a name!
I’m glad it wasn’t ketchup with a hot dog!

He does – and no ketchup on my hot dogs (unless it is the only option). Mustard, please!

I can’t stand mustard, and the French tend to use it in so many things. I’m also not at all fond of French cheeses, and I prefer New World wines.
That really prompts the question: what am I doing living in France?

It kind of does prompt that question! If you ever want to send me some yummy French cheese, I know where to find some excellent Wisconsin cheeses in return!

Considering the respective sizes of your “models”, it looks like the ketchup is the accompaniment. 😉 Though very likely the model won’t think so! 😉

The model definitely doesn’t think so!

I can’t believe how tolerant your pets are! The most I’ve gotten on my dog was a bandana and once I tried a cute pink cat collar for my cat and she hated it so much she kept trying to get it off and ended up getting it stuck in her mouth while wearing so I figured it wasn’t safe to put anything on her anymore!

Only Choppy is really tolerant – and that required a lot of practice. She hasn’t always enjoyed it like she does now! Schooner is getting OK with things around his neck, but anything else you see is a fight to get on him. And he is awful at paying attention to me for the photographs.

Or as we say here tomato sauce 😃

Yes! Even though tomato sauce is something entirely different here. I have no idea what you guys call actual tomato sauce. 🙂

hahaha Finally – you get the cat to wear a costume! 🙂
Tho poor old Choppy appears to be weighed down by her hat! 🙂

It’s actually an old shirt of mine – I didn’t have time to make a proper costume. Just don’t tell anyone…

The key is “relatively” – well, for Schooner at least. Choppy has been getting dressed up so long, she doesn’t care any more.

I think your animals are amazing! They’re so tolerant. Especially the cat: how on earth do you get the cat to pose?? YOU’RE amazing! So cute, these babies…

Thank you! As to the cat posing, that’s mostly just putting him somewhere and getting his attention while you frantically snap pictures and hope one looks OK!

Thank you – and after this morning’s hula skirt debacle, I am pretty sure he’s never going to be good at this. Of course, I set him up for failure on that one.

I’ll take a hamburger AND a hot dog with that ketchup! No mustard, please!! Sorry Choppy!

You can pass on the mustard – it’s my favorite, so she won’t feel left out!

The cat in full costume – yeah! I don’t think choppy likes being the accompaniment though.

Definitely not. Choppy knows she is the star, and she doesn’t enjoy getting second billing.

I purchase most of them – though they get all sorts of accessories that don’t come with them. I do sometimes make an outfit, though, or re-purpose something (Schooner’s outfit in this is an old t-shirt, as well as a little hat I made myself).

Yes, I suspect Choppy is not happy with Schooner’s rise to leading man!

Ketchup is much better with Schooner playing the part of condiment! 🙂 Choppy looks like she knows how to pose, as usual. 🙂

Paul always comments on how Choppy looks exactly the same in all her pictures. She’ll move a bit, but she rarely takes a picture that’s bad for one of these. Meanwhile, the cat has been in 100 different poses.
