Today’s post is a post I have been waiting to write for a long time. But until the Dog Blog Challenge, I didn’t have a good excuse to do so, and thus couldn’t bring myself to write on it.

You see, most of you are here because of Choppy. More specifically, you’re here because of Choppy’s wildly popular Facebook page, on which Choppy complains to no end about the outfits I make her wear.

Now, the confession: Choppy actually enjoys her costumes.

I know, you’re incredulous. What kind of dog enjoys dressing up? In case the pictures aren’t enough, I had Paul take a video of the process:

She really does enjoy it, as you can see. And she puts up with much posing as well – I can tilt her head as need be, and physically move her while she stays in one spot (I basically pick her up and move her as she remains in a sitting pose).

Perhaps she really only likes it because of the promise of the treat in the end. Or because I pay her attention. But maybe she really does like getting dressed up. You never know…
