Unless you paid absolutely no attention to what was going on here, you know that during April, I participated in the April A to Z Challenge. Every day (except Sundays) during April, I posted a picture of Choppy dressed up in a costume that corresponded to a letter of the alphabet. From an Around-the-World Traveler to a Zebra, you all got to see Choppy tortured and humiliated in the name of amusement.* I’ve got all the entries collected here, in case you missed anything.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this process. While it was difficult to come up with daily entries (I’m looking at you, I and X), I am always happy to have a reason to post everyday – and, more importantly, to have an idea I can use for a post. Plus, I found a host of new blogs to visit, which is never a bad thing.

So, until next year, A to Z Challenge!
* – I kid. Choppy secretly loves getting dressed up.

I have great sympathy for Choppy. She has to love you Sarah to go through all of this. Ha You wore Choppy and yourself out on that challenge, but you did very well.

Thank you! Choppy really is a sport to put up with all of this.

Loved the behind the scenes shots. Reflecting, is there anything that Choppy refused to wear?

She will pretty much wear anything I try to put her in. She doesn’t like wearing hats very much, though obviously she will. I feel like there was something I once tried to dress her in and she refused, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what that was at the moment!

Choppy has the same happy face as me. I also love dressing up. Whenever Mom dresses me, it means something fun is about to happen. Bring on the tutu and devil horns, Mom!
Love and licks,

Choppy gets a treat whenever she dresses up – hence it is one of her favorite activities!

Daisy’s not happy about dressing up at all, but she tolerates it…for a few minutes… 😉

That’s a few more minutes than some dogs will put up with it!

I had so much fun checking in on Choppy everyday. When I grow up more, I want to have as many costumes as her.

You should get started now! It takes a long time to amass this sort of collection – and it’s always a good day for a costume!

We have 3 right now: a bat, clown, and dragon. Of course we also have a t-shirt, jacket, and sweater. I LOVE buying my babies things to wear.

Well, I certainly can’t say anything about this – I definitely enjoy the purchase of dog clothing!

Loved your summary, hope you don’t mind I copied it.

Not at all! I’ve done it for previous challenges, and I think the person it is most helpful to is me! I like to have all those posts collected in one place!

I agree, I have to admit I was proud of myself when I looked back on the past 26 posts.

The list really is good for showing how much you’ve written (or, in my case, how many times I’ve humiliated the dog).

You’re right Choppy…A model’s life isn’t easy, but you are born to be a model 😉 Look at you how photogenic you are!!! 😉

Agreed! If only things were so easy for me, I would actually own a jumpsuit!

This is my first time visiting. First up, let me extend to you a hearty CONGRATS on completing the A2Z challenge. Second off, I wish I had found you before today. These photos of Choppy are hilarious. He must be a patient dog to put up with such shenanigans of his human pet. lol I like the one with him wearing the shower cap. That’s just funny! Thanks for the smiles!

Thank you for dropping by! I am glad we could amuse you – Choppy definitely is the one who deserves the credit here. I just take the pictures!

Well, all I can say is it’s a good thing Choppy is a dog because a cat wouldn’t put up with all that silliness. lol I think Choppy deserves a T-bone steak for being such a good sport, what do you think?

She certainly would agree on the t-bone steak (though I am not sure my pocketbook would…).

I missed visiting Choppy during the challenge, but now working my way through the reflections. You’ve had a great time creating these posts, a sure sign that it is all worth it. Congrats on your theme and success.

I bet Choppy is really glad this is over. Cats and dogs hate to be dressed up. However, what a creative way to come up with a theme. Would imagine getting some of pictures was a real trick!

I’m sure she is quite glad it is over! Though she did get plenty of treats for dealing with the challenge over the course of the month, so I’m sure she enjoyed that part at the very least.

I did enjoy my visit to your blog and your and Choppy’s adventures. I couldn’t follow a lot of blogs with dogs this particular challenge since I’m still grieving the loss of our corgi in December, otherwise I would have visited more often 🙂 Choppy is a good dog to allow you to dress her up 🙂 Congrats for finishing the challenge!

Hi Choppy and Sarah (Your Ladyship?)! I’m swinging by on the Road Trip to visit all the A to Z blogs I missed last month. Yours was such a cute theme! I think the elephant cracked me up the most. And yes, I did know that it was an elephant. 🙂 I enjoyed all the creative outfits. I’m amazed that Choppy has the patience for it. Those treats must be extra-special.
Thanks for following my blog! I’ll be back to visit again soon.

Thanks for dropping by! I am glad you could tell it was an elephant – not the most true-to-life of Choppy’s costumes. And she really is a patient dog to put up with this.
And drop by any time!
