For the Dog Walk Challenge, I keep a notebook with our walk information (it’s just where we walked, the length of the walk, who went on the walk and some notes on anything interesting or fun about the walk). This morning, I realize we only have one page left in it. It’s somewhat of a Dog Walk Challenge milestone!
Date: September 8, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy

That’s awesome, congrats! I don’t think I’ve ever finished filling in a notebook start to finish haha I always wanted to start over “fresh”

If this isn’t my first full one, it’s darn close!

funny to see a steam roller on the road, what’s that about? Choppy looks magnificent today 🙂

They store them on this gravel road – it’s an access road to the county road building. During the day, it goes out to a nearby street to work on a road that may never be finished at the rate it is currently being worked on.

Some very interesting! (Some are really boring, but we’ll ignore those.)

When I started, I just thought it would be a nice, pleasant thing to do with Choppy for a month. Now, I am so happy we did it for so many reasons – our health, the extra time together, etc.

Yes! I walk each day and have since I had my 7th child, the runner haha. I have high cholesterol but at least have low blood pressure and exercise every day so I feel good about that. Age catches up with you really quickly haha! Good job on these walks!

I think the exercise alone will probably extend your life – I’m amazed at how good I feel when I get out. I don’t dread our walks, I worry about not getting a walk in these days!

Now that surely is a milestone! Congratulations! You’re on your way from notebook to novel. 😉

I’m not sure it’s a novel anyone would want to read – “This morning was a pleasant walk. Had to keep Choppy from lying down in a giant puddle.”Repeat many times!

Sam and I walk every day; I should keep a journal of our travels. Could prove to be pretty interesting. Kudos for keeping up with it. 🌟

Most of my entries in the journal are rather boring – but then I look back and still remember things. When the current journal is done (maybe 2-3 days), I’m going to expand it into a real journal. I’m not going to feel obligated to journal every day (other than the walks), but I think it would be a great writing exercise for me.
