Today is Opposite Day! If only that meant I could do the opposite of what I normally do on Friday, and not go to work!
Happy Opposite Day!

Geez, Schooner makes Grumpy Cat seem like a carefree kitty.😅

Hahaha I feel for you Sarah….Guess life really does revolve around our furry ones 🙂 Those two really are just too cute 🙂

I am happy to have it revolve around them – well, Choppy at least! She brings so much happiness to everything she does. I love to have her around!

Schooner clearly exists in his own universe with its own rules.

It’s a cat universe. We’re only visiting.

Schooner, you will never change! 🙂

No, he won’t! And yet, I keep trying to change him.

LOL! Those two!
Schooner has been giving you ‘kissy eyes’ the past few photos. I read once that when cats squint slightly, it is a sign of affection. As opposed to slitted eyes, which when accompanied by high-pitched wailing and swishing tail, means you need to move to higher ground!

I’ve never heard this – very interesting! I will keep an eye out for both looks!

Slitted eyes are for the enemy! I don’t think he’ll give you those, if he knows on which side his bread is buttered! 😉

I don’t know – I do yell at him a lot. He might figure there are two of us and he can lose one and still get fed and have his litter cleaned up!

He’s still a rebellious adolescent. 😉 He’ll settle down…eventually!

I keep hearing this, and yet it doesn’t happen. I think I was spoiled with Choppy – she never went through much of a phase involving bad behavior. A little trouble here and there, but nothing too bad.

Cats are so very different! As you are finding out. 😉 Sorry, it may take another year or two.

I anxiously await the day he calms down (he’s seriously considering scratching a chair at the moment. Thankfully, he appears to have become distracted by his own tail).

Never! He just spent several minutes attacking a curtain. I think I’ll wait a little longer to get replacements for those…

My last kitten destroyed so much of the house, I’ve been adopting adults ever since. 😉

We considered some adult cats, but there was a lot of worry about how they would get along with Choppy. Next time, we’ll know better!

A lot of luck! I just snap a bunch of pictures and hope one of them has the look I want.

If it is Opposite Day, and the cat’s sign says he doesn’t do opposites, does it mean he really does?
