Having attended Notre Dame, I think it is obligatory that I enjoy St. Patrick’s Day. Choppy? Not so much. Here are five reasons why:
Even on her first St. Patrick’s Day, I made her wear an insulting t-shirt.If I was going to make her dress up like this, I could have at least made her an alcoholic drink. I didn’t.Sometimes, the simple outfit is as humiliating as the gaudy one.Another humiliating outfit, another virgin drink.This. This is definitely a reason Choppy does not like St. Patrick’s Day.
Is Choppy trying out the new Elton John wardrobe? The glasses would make Dame Edna proud! Maggie wouldn’t like to be dressed up though….. we put a bandage on her bad foot and it was off in less than 5 seconds.
Choppy is jealous of Elton’s wardrobe (no, wait, that’s me…). And her willingness to be dressed up only comes after years of training. Things did not always go smoothly.
My sister practiced her first aid on the dog. Poor thing, tail in a bandage, leg in a splint, head tied up like he had mumps. And as for dressing up the cat in boottees and bonnet, oh crumbs! It ran away every time the pram came out!!!
Did you see the picture of our cat today? I am dragging him into the clothing, whether he likes it or not. Perhaps he just thinks it is normal, because the dog does it so much.
Wow, that is one patient dog.

Bwahaha. I can understand why Choppy does not like Saint Patrick’s day. But on the other hand, he looks so damn cute.

I told my husband I want a dog for my birthday. My two cats, Roxie and ZuZu won’t even let me put bows on their heads! What a good dog!

Really? My husband and I met there while in law school (though our 10 year reunion is this year, so we’re a bit younger).
