Originally, today’s Dog Blog Challenge post was supposed to be on somewhere Choppy has not been. However, as this is my own challenge, I’ve decided to mix it up a bit – instead of discussing somewhere new Choppy has ventured (as this blog is (supposedly) all about that when we are on the road), I thought I would do a challenge on the means by which we get places: the car.

I’m always surprised when someone says they have a dog who doesn’t enjoy the car – the dogs I have been around during my lifetime have all not just enjoyed the car, but loved it. Sundance especially loved everything about being in the car (to the point where he would threaten anyone who attempted to get him out of the car).

Choppy doesn’t like the car quite that much, but she certainly enjoys it. She loves having her head out the window or taking a nap or just sitting on the seat, watching the world go by. Sure, there have been a couple times where she has gotten car sick, but considering she is in the car at least two or three days every week (and often even more than that), I think we have a pretty good track record (I’m actually pretty sure I get car sick more than she does).
