My attitude going into the latest Dog Blog Challenge was pretty confident. “Great! I’ll just find some ink and get a paw print from Choppy.”
I should not have been so sure of myself.
First, I couldn’t find the ink pad (I’m sure it’s around here somewhere…). Then, my other ideas about how to do this failed (note: chalk does not create a footprint. Neither does food colored water). Eventually, I asked Paul what he would do.
“Do you have any Play-Doh?”
It was an excellent suggestion. Mere seconds later, I was ready to get Choppy’s paw print.

Within seconds, I had a paw print. Then, unsatisfied, I quickly tried more. It was easy, and as you’ll see with the last picture, the results were excellent.

This was also such a tough one for me! In the end I never got to it (will do it soon though!) as I couldn’t figure out the logictics. I had thought to get a picture of a muddy paw print from them, but this is a much better idea to get that print! I may have to steal it! 😉

All credit on this one goes to Paul! He also suggested a paw print in the snow, but the Play-Doh was great. You could even see the contours of her paw in it (they don’t show up in the photo).

It’s a perfect paw print after-all. Cheers

And it was easy to get, to boot!

This is a great idea! Even though my dog lives with my parents, I’m going to have to visit them just to do this! Love it, and it came out nicely!

It’s great – and easy! Plus, with Play-Doh, you can do it in whatever color you want.
