Tonight, a post devoted to some of the other cats we saw over the holidays.
Clockwise from the top left are:
Peaches: Peaches is my parents’ cat. She is feral, though as she now seems to mostly live in the house, I guess I should say she was feral. Today, you would never know this is a cat who just started showing up at their house and once refused to let us pet her.
Rudy: Rudy is one of my mother-in-law’s cats. He loves to play in the sink with the water on. The most amazing part of this is not that he is a cat who loves water, but that with his rather large size he is even able to jump up onto the sink in the first place.
Sparky: Sparky is my mother-in-law’s other cat. He loves the sun and watching the birds at the feeders and in the yard.
Rudy is so roly-poly I want to reach out and squidge him!

He would enjoy it thoroughly!

I actually have an image of him, when tired of playing needing a parachute to get back down from the sink!

He could use it!

Cats have gravity-defying-jumping -mechanisms in their paws. Does Rudy raid the fridge? Peaches is fortunate to have a wonderful home & is ‘off the street’ or more likely
”out of the woods,’ I can totally relate to Sparky’s activities of loving the 🌞 and watching the birds.

Rudy raids Sparky’s food bowl – it’s like a daily feast for him.
As for Peaches, she is definitely “out of the woods” – quite literally, she came out of the woods and started hanging out at my parents’ deck years ago.

I did a double-take as Clearly the cat I saw in my WP Reader was Not Schooner! 😀
Lovely cats all of them – but I still prefer Schooner. He seems to have more Sass!:D

It’s his age – all of these kitties are downright ancient compared to Schooner!

Ah – but they all look nice cats 🙂 – Just not a Schooner! 😀

Will we be having a ‘Where’s …………… ‘ series for these in the future too Sarah? Great pics.

Perhaps – I’m sure I could capture some of these guys hiding for a future post (though I won’t be seeing any of them for a bit, so it will have to wait).

I’ll be waiting! 🙂

Hello Peaches, Rudy and Sparky! Love the color of Peaches. Hmm🤔I wonder if Choppy and Schooner will get along with these 3?

Choppy and Peaches are OK – though Choppy does sometimes chase her into the woods. I’m not sure any of the others will meet in real life any time soon, though.

Choppy is nice 😉

Does Peaches have an extra toe (or 2) on her right paw?

Nope – but the picture sure looks like it! I think she was just luxuriating and spreading those paws out.

Oh, Rudy is definitely a plump one. Paul calls him “Tubby” and it is appropriate.

Rudy definitely falls into the plump category! Peaches looks far larger than she is (though she does seem to have gained some weight since she decided to live much of the time in the house).

I was going to comment on Rudy’s robustness. LOL Great that Peaches found a loving home with your parents! Sunning and watching the birds sounds like a purrfect life for Sparky, or any cat for that matter.

Peaches seems to realize she has it good – probably all the living on the streets (/in the woods).

Oh my, what an adorable bunch of kitties 🙂 So happy that Peaches is no longer feral and loving her forever home. They all look so comfy and happy. 🙂 🙂 🙂

She sort of forced herself into a forever home – my parents weren’t really in the market for a cat, but Peaches had different plans.

When we visit relatives, we see many cats – it seems that our relatives have far more cats than dogs. I’ll have to remember to take more pictures of them.
