I’ve missed Choppy for a while, as I’ve been fighting Bronchitis. The good news is that I’m feeling better, and have lost twenty pounds. I guess, both me and Choppy, will be eating more apples. I hope you are doing well, and book sales are booming.
I go for those early apples because they’re tart – but I tend not to like the green and yellow ones because my mind thinks they’re softer than red ones (even when they aren’t).
The mind is a funny thing. That’s what causes sea sickness, you know. Your mind is getting confusing signals. I have had visual migraines in the past and think that is why I feel sick – I am seeing something, but I know it isn’t there. Well, that, plus the fact that what I see is rings of twirling light. One time, I think I had a tasting migraine. Everything I was eating tasted like strawberries. While I love strawberries, I couldn’t stomach strawberry flavored mashed potatoes. LOL That’s why I can’t drink flavored water. If it’s clear, it needs to taste like nothing.
Isn’t it amazing what you mind will do? I think I read somewhere that you can give someone glasses that make the world appear upside down, and very quickly, your brain will turn everything back the correct way.
And now, where’s Wilhelm Tell with his crossbow to shoot the apple from her head? 😉
Have a wonderful weekend,
Pit

I don’t know where he is, but so long as Schooner doesn’t have the bow and arrow, we’re good.

An apple a day hopefully keeps the vet away (Choppy would do anything to keep the vet away, even eat an apple!).

I never even thought about that before – apples in holiday colors! I may have to take this into account in some Christmas decorating this year.

As she had the sweater on, I couldn’t very well pass up the chance to get a picture of her in it for one of these December holidays.

Great balancing act Choppy. I wouldn’t eat that red apple either. I prefer Granny Smith – tart and crispy.

Exactly! You have to keep bows and arrows away from him.
