Choppy must have nerves of steel to hold that pose 😱

The whole pumpkin spice thing is a mystery to me sitting here across the big pond. We have started importing American pumpkins into Australia because it’s not our pumpkin season and people want to do pumpkin art. I just want pumpkin soup.

I am not as into pumpkin everything as some, but I make pumpkin cookies which I love.

That pumpkin must be heavy! Choppy must have tough neck vertebrae, along with great sense of balance. Choppy the Wonder Dog!

Balancing skills again! I failed my Balancing Badge in Brownies first time round, I wish Choppy had been there to take it for me.

She would be a pro at getting that particular badge!

What balance, what skills Choppy has! This is sure to send Schooner out looking for some witch on Halloween just to see if he can balance on her broom. I only hope it doesn’t scar the poor cat for life. Oh the humanity, Sarah! 😀

If it does scar Schooner for life, Choppy will probably be OK with that situation.

Is that Schooner lurking in the background, waiting to pounce and break Choppy’s concentration? I sure hope this is a paper mache pumpkin, otherwise, it would be much too heavy for balancing….and would make a huge mess if it fell off and burst on the floor.

I won’t tell Choppy’s pumpkin secrets – but I will say it is definitely a lurking Schooner in the background. He is fascinated by Choppy’s outfits, but not enough to want to wear them himself. Unfortunately.

She can’t resist a dressed up animal …. every Christmas my dog (The Bean) is presented with an outfit. Last year she was the gingerbread man but a really disgruntled gingerbread man if you get my drift 😆

Ooh, gingerbread man! Methinks I need to search this particular costume out for Choppy (she will probably not be as disgruntled a gingerbread man as The Bean).

The Bean settled down when she was given a smidge of my special gingerbread turkey stuffing (and turkey … which she has also been dressed as in the past). I hope you can find a Choppy sized costume she would rock that look!!!

Speaking of turkeys, on Friday I was driving through the city and three turkeys wandered around by the side of the road. Far too late I realized I needed to take some pictures for you!

Nooooooo!!! Never mind, I’ll have to close my eyes and imagine them. I’m quite good at imaginings!

I almost got another one for you this morning! She skedaddled off the road in front of me before I could snap a picture of her.
