No coyotes this week on our walks, just the normal assortment of ducks, geese, groundhogs, and some muskrats.  We did some exploring of the new trails – Choppy chased a bunch of bunnies (at least, I think that’s what she was after, because I couldn’t see where she went on her sojourn off the trail).

As a heads up, next week’s Dog Walk Challenge post is going to be a little later in the week than normal because of the blog vacation (in case you missed the post last week, I’ll be on vacation while Paul, Choppy, and Schooner hold down the home fort – I will be back late next week. I’ve scheduled daily posts the whole time I’m away, but comments are disabled on most of them so I don’t return home to too many comments to respond to!).

“You can say any fool thing to a dog and the dog will just give you this look that says, ‘My GOSH, you’re RIGHT! I NEVER would have thought of that.’”

-Dave Barry-

Do you see the muskrat swimming in the pond?
