Although Schooner looks somewhat like “get me out of here” he is being a good sport. 😉

He was being a good sport, as he clearly did not enjoy it. I only got a couple snaps of him before he ran off, but I will take running off over the alternative (attacking). I can see a day where he will happily sit for pictures. It’s not soon, but someday!

Schooner is looking a tad uncomfortable. Maybe, he’s keen to have the shade on his head. I’m guessing though there may be scratch marks suggesting not!

I laughed when I saw Schooner navigating away from the lampshade. It really would be a party if that actually made its way onto his head. I think Choppy would have given it a go!

Oh, I’ve done it to Choppy before! She patiently sits there, lamp shade on head, waiting for me to be done so she can get a treat.

I think about parties and wonder why they aren’t as common now as they used to be no my friends and family. (?) xo

That’s a good question. Perhaps people think parties need to be bigger deals now than they used to, with decorations, etc., when in the past you could just have drinks and dinner (not even a fancy dinner) and that would be a great party. Or just have friends over in the evening and play some music and have a good time.

I’m sure Choppy would have been a much better sport about the lamp shade than Schooner is. Very cute though.
