Schooner looks cuddly 🙂

He looks cuddly – but I don’t suggest any attempts to give him a belly rub if you value your blood. Back scratch? That’s fine. Us people need to learn our limits, apparently.

The outstretched paw to me says “come any nearer and I’ll scratch”. Not sweet and innocent at all! I agree about Choppy though.

It only looks like he wants a belly rub. A dog, this one is not.

Great pic of Schooner! He has such nice markings, handsome brown belly!

Full of bacon!

He is a handsome fellow – and just the right amount of playfulness with that white-tipped tail.

Schooner looks like he’s just eaten a rasher of bacon while Choppy looks like she’s waiting for a rasher of bacon.

Choppy doesn’t wait for bacon if Schooner has some – she just takes it. She’s not always the nicest, especially when it comes to bacon.

I bet that leads to some tense hissing and scratching behaviour.

When it comes to food, Schooner knows that he can just get more (so does Choppy, for that matter). It’s a fairly peaceful situation – thankfully, neither is food aggressive or we’d have trouble on our hands!

The daily walks must help Choppy stay hungry 😃

Choppy looks like she is plugged in and recharging after that long walk. LOL I can see in Schooner’s eyes a warning to stay away.

He does let you know when it is a bad time to come near – usually! You just have to watch out for the times when there is no warning.
