Day 4 – Elf on the Shelf – Step Away from the Computer

You can’t let the pets play with the computer around here, and you definitely can’t let the Elf anywhere near one, either.
The Elf has an evil smirk on his face. Is he somehow related to Schooner?

They may be cousins. Or half-siblings. We might need a DNA test to figure it out.

Not so sure I’d let this Elf near anyone or anything. Day 4 & he has proven to be a pint-sized menace. No wonder Santa didn’t want him helping to make toys, he was probably putting everything on backwards 😬

Or purposely making toys that would fail about ten minutes after a kid started playing with them!

I’ve heard through the grapevine he might be interested in television. I really must set up parental controls so he can’t order anything.

I do! And then I concoct scenarios in my mind where the backups all burn up, or get stolen, or something else horrible. Note: most of my stuff is also on the cloud somewhere, so this is highly unlikely to happen. Still, worries!

Kind of like those old ‘missing the school bus’ dreams buried deep in the subconscious… 😉

Yes! Though mine are more of the ‘I didn’t show up for a class I signed up for and now I’m going to fail’ college/law school dreams.

I’ve had one of those, too. It must be universal!

I would be so sad if he got near my computer. His antics are prompting me to run an updated backup of my PC though, so that’s helpful.

He’s not just an Evil Elf – he’s a Sometimes Helpful in an Odd Way Elf.

I am so technology challenged, I would have been afraid to have gotten my computer to this point for a picture. I have been known to hit the wrong button before. Yikes. What a nightmare. Oh my. I went back and looked again and I don’t think there is a right button to push…

I don’t think there is, either!
