hehe But Choppy takes it like a Pro! 😀

That she does – if she’s getting paid (in treats) to be somewhere and do something, she does it. Truly a professional.

Aw – and she does it all with a smile too 🙂

And a lot less scratching than the cat!

No wonder she looks a bit disgruntled.

Good gracious. What kind of witchery do I see in these photos! Choppy, not starring? And relegated to sidekick?! Oh. My. Stars.

It’s a tough life for a dog around here these days. I’m guessing she’s going to demand a starring role as the A to Z Challenge comes to an end.

Please offer my condolences to Choppy for dressing as a cat AND accidentally referring to her as a him in past comments. This embarrasses me almost as much as the time I asked an overweight woman when her baby was due (to find out she wasn’t pregnant.) Never made that mistake again!

That’s definitely a mistake you only make once!
As for Choppy, you’ll be happy to know that many people (including myself) regularly refer to ‘her’ as a ‘he’ – and Schooner is almost always a ‘her’ instead of the ‘he’ that he is. We’re pretty casual about the pronouns around here, as it turns out.

Witch is much better! 🙂 Poor Choppy though for being outCAsT as the familiar!

Everyone around here is relieved – Choppy, Schooner, and definitely their much-scratched photographer!

Sit on the hat, Choppy, and call it a sorting hat!

Or not sitting at a desk and doing absolutely anything but writing. But feeling guilty about it. For authenticity.
Choppy doesn’t look happy! Those ears are adorable, though. The cat looks like he’s ready to destroy the hat.

This is about the truest writer statement ever!
And Schooner was quite disappointed when I put the hat back in the costume box. I think you are right on his plans for destruction.

Oh I could see it in his eyes! And his paws. They were at the ready.

How cute! I love Choppy as the black cat – sorry Choppy. You pulled it off so well. 😉

I’m going to have to make it up to Choppy as we get to the last three letters – she’ll start feeling truly left out otherwise!

Hahaha I love that Choppy is the cat!

Well, she is the black one – it made sense to make her the black cat (at least in that one random way. Ignore all the ways it would have been more appropriate for the cat to be the cat. You know, like he actually IS a cat).

Where’s her wand?

Probably somewhere under the couch with all the other cat things. You can make a cat into a witch, but it’s still a cat.

Very adorable pups you have there. We love dogs at Gastradamus. Have you even been the park SeaWorld? I have a post about that and i would really like your input if you have the time. Have a blessed day and be sure to spoil your dogs

Thank you! I have been to Sea World – and I’ll come by and check it out.

Choppy does not seemed pleased to be playing the cat role for this letter. Of course, it doesn’t make her any less adorable.

Anything to do with the cat is generally something Choppy would rather not be doing – though she does make an exception for a little play time on occasion.

Sweet Choppy can pretend she is a witch but she is a good dog, Sarah! 🙂 I love how you capture such expressions on Schooner and Choppy.

She is a good dog – and much loved (despite the torture of all the clothing).

Glad the hat survived. Even all the ribbons? Lol. By the way I don’t think I thanked you for identifying my Egyptian goose 🙂 strange looking bird.

I’m surprised it survived as well! Not everything does when Schooner is involved. Or Choppy, for that matter.
And you’re welcome on the Egyptian Goose. We used to have them at the zoo here – very odd birds. They didn’t seem the friendliest, either, but I may have been coming to that conclusion based on their looks alone.
