If you’re looking for today’s A to Z Challenge post, that was up earlier (I know – two posts in one day – I’m an overachiever). Right now, it’s time to enjoy some bad jokes!
So I’m singing “Grey Squirrel” with my prek students and the song goes “hold a nut between your toes”. I asked them, what is the squirrel holding? My answers were: coconut, peanut, walnut, and acorn… Loved your post, and that it reminded me of this silly memory.
Choppy is going to begin having heads of lettuce and vegetables thrown at him with these kinds of jokes! …wait a minute…. smart boy. He is using these jokes to obtain FREE FOOD!
And the “s” word is not used around Choppy when she is wearing this outfit, lest we have a very excited Choppy on our hands. So she probably just thinks she’s dressed as a cat or something similar!
I only eat peanuts! I must have been that picky bird at the feeder who is throwing everything on the ground looking for the one thing in there she likes.
aarrrgggh! Up to your usual standard Sarah!

I prefer my nuts to be chocolate coated. I wonder what squirrels make of that.

I’m with you. As for the squirrels, the one pictured here is not supposed to have chocolate, but I can tell you that it is something she likes!

Yay! That’s awesome – and if only I had this comment before the jokes, I would have had some other nuts to add to the jokes…maybe next time!

Choppy has been using this blog to obtain free food for a long time – she doesn’t get dressed up for free!

I never know whether to groan or smile at your Bad Jokes! 😀
But Choppy looks cute – I wonder if she realises she’s a squirrel?

Either reaction is fine with us!

I was surely a squirrel in a past life. Love nuts and am usually called one… 🌰
