This week’s Throwback Thursday comes at the request of Cameron, at The World’s Biggest Fridge Magnet. After last week’s Throwback Thursday post of Choppy in her boots, I told him I would find the video of Izzy’s attempts to walk in her booties. And find it I did – the video is below.
If you want to see something on the blog, let me know. I can’t humor all the requests, but if it is something easy that allows me to get a post while also being lazy, I will likely take you up on the request.

LOL, not liking the slippers.

Not at all – she figured out that the best way to deal with them was to lie down a long time ago (and many slippers previously).

Ha! Seeing this video further emphasizes how defeated poor Choppy is…teeheehee dogs in boots never gets old!

When it comes to booties, she has lost the will to go on. I mean, if you can’t even do more than move your eyes when the magic squirrel word is broken out, you truly have been defeated.

Izzy appears to be quite perplexed.

I feel you, I and C. My mom laughs at me when I try to walk in my boots, too. It’s humiliating.
Love and licks,

It will be the lamest prize fight ever, as Choppy is already down for the count.

Sarah, you’re not suggesting that Choppy would take a dive, are you? 😀

It depends on the treats involved. So yes. Yes, I am suggesting she would take a dive.

Maybe we can bribe the ref to do a count of 10 minutes, instead of 10 seconds (the customary count), giving Choppy a little extra time to digest th0se treats. 😀

Bribery seems to be an excellent way to accomplish many things in this scenario.

Sorry but I can’t stop laughing at Choppy being the “dead” dog! Soooooo like Anne any time I attempt to put her sweater on her 🙂

It is rather hilarious. And I can recreate it any time I want!

I have to say that Choppy had exactly the right idea here – keep off her feet & take advantage of the nap time! Poor Izzy, that was very funny 😉

LOL – this is too funny! I once had a short-haired dog that used to freeze in winter, so I made a coat for her. It attached with a velcro enclosure. I put it on and she refused to move! Dog dignity!

Ha! Obviously, the clothing doesn’t bother Choppy. She just seems to have failed to inherit my love of shoes!

ROFL! I read somewhere that I should get Mongo doggie boots for some of the rocky hikes out here. After that video, I’m glad I decided against it! He’s comical enough, just because he’s a lab. I’d die laughing if he did that dance. (He has really tough pads, so I don’t think he needs them.)

Choppy could have used some in the city, as the winter salt used to hurt her poor feet. Now that we’re in the country (or close to it), there is much less of it so the booties are not so necessary (thankfully for Choppy, as she would not apparently go on her walk if she had them on).

I’m not sure who’s more accommodating – you or the dogs. Do you have kitty boots?

Not yet! As soon as I see some, though, I am guessing I will buy them!

Ah, lucky kitty! But flip flops will do in a pinch!
