Today is Reptile Awareness Day. I kind of thought this was an alligator costume, though now I’m pretty sure it is a frog costume.

Keep up with Travels with Choppy on Facebook and Twitter!
Choppy also has her own Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

This is definitely a frog. But, she makes a cute frog! Ha

Oh, agreed – it doesn’t even have a tail. It definitely cannot be an alligator.

Thank you!
Also, you can check Twitter for a pic that I think Zela would like (and on Saturday, she’s getting a Travels with Choppy shoutout!).

Wondering what costume Choppy will wear for Halloween?

You and me both – I have so many options, and it makes the decision difficult!

I was relieved to see a photo of Choppy instead of a reptile!

Oh, yes – no real reptiles around here. I’m not sticking around long enough to get a picture! (I say this, knowing full well there is a video of many alligators somewhere on this site that I took in the Everglades).

😀 Well, we’ll just use our imaginations and pretend she is an alligator!

Yes! I can do that (and I’ll keep an eye out for an actual alligator costume!).

I will. 🙂
Just curious, do you make or buy all these costumes?

Mostly I buy them, but that’s mostly because I haven’t had time to sew much the last few years. I love to sew, but work and life seem to get in the way of it. I’m hoping to get more sewing in this winter, as my life is far more settled than it has been in a couple years.
Of course, this being me, I’ll likely do something to take up all the time I am hoping to have!

She really is – I’m glad I found such a willing dog for my costumes!

So cute! It doesn’t matter what you are on the outside 😉

Which is good, because Choppy would have a serious issue with all the costumes. She would, at the very least, be confused about her status as a dog.

Choppy looks extra cute in this outfit! I feel like the eyes on her head are looking at us 😛
