So, this week promises to be busy here in the non-blogging world of Wisconsin. I took an unexpected work trip to St. Louis yesterday, my law firm is moving offices today, and, because one move a week isn’t enough, Paul and I are moving the apartment to the new house this weekend after our Friday closing. In other words, I am likely not to be the most active online participant this week. I will pop in occasionally to make sure you are all behaving yourselves (or not), but if that doesn’t happen, it’s not because I don’t want to be here. It’s probably because I dropped a desk on my foot and had to make a trip to the emergency room.

Looking forward to having you and Choppy back. :O)

I am hopeful we are back now – but we are still not entirely moved in, so I may be a bit overly optimistic!

Thanks! I am sure we’ll continue to need it! And I really like St. Louis – I wish I had more time last week while I was there to do more exploring.

All the best for the Moves! When it all becomes too much, take Choppy for a nice long walk – oh and give her lots of treats too. Little Monkey suggested this! 😉

Little Monkey is wise. Choppy especially enjoys the treat advice!

Welcome to the Show-Me State! We hope we treated you well while you were here.

You did! I can’t remember a time when I was treated poorly there, though – it’s a most excellent state!

I sawn the arch from the Illinois side of the river. It was just as the sun was setting. It was beautiful.

That was about when I saw it on this trip – couldn’t ask for a better welcome into the city (OK, I suppose they could have brought me a cocktail, but the scenery couldn’t be beat on its own!).

Thanks! We are part way through now. There is more to come, but that part will involve movers, so it is far less stressful than the part we did ourselves (which is almost done)!

Hey, opening for Choppy can’t be that hard – I’m pretty sure the audience is saving all the tomato throwing for her bad puns!

Good luck with the double move! And can I just say, I LOVE that your law firm allows dogs at work 🙂

It is great – I love being able to give a dog a hug during the day (even when it isn’t my own dog!).

Oh I wish we could – unfortunately it was our boss’s dog that piddled in his office and caused an animal ban! *Sigh*

And no second chance? I think you should petition for a second chance!

Good luck! Sounds like an exciting week. Everything always happens at once!

It really does! I could use a little less excitement, maybe – hopefully, though, we’ll get through the last part of the move and things will calm down a bit.

Thank you! Halfway finished with the move now. Everything should at least be in the house by next week (though unpacking is a whole different story).

Unpacking! Ugh! Have fun or try.

Thanks! We will try – though just having all my things in one place makes it not-altogether-unpleasant.
