The next few Sunday pictures I have for you go back to my trip to Australia a few years ago. It was a great time, and I can’t wait to go back – if only to get more pictures that strike an American as a little odd!

The first one is a picture I took at Healesville Sanctuary, a sanctuary for Australian animals. It was a great place to visit, but one thing in particular struck me more than anything else: their campaign to encourage the use of recycled toilet paper, called “Wipe for Wildlife.” They even have a mascot (yes, his name really is “Crapman”). I brought home a coozie with another slogan that is part of the campaign, “Is you bum guilt free?” And, in case you need further proof, here’s a bad picture I took of one of the many signs around the Sanctuary encouraging the use of recycled toilet paper:

And, if you are worried you might forget to buy and use recycled toilet paper, don't worry. They have a flyer you can print and put on your toilet door as a helpful reminder.
