This evening, I was at the grocery story picking up a bottle of wine (and food. But mostly wine), when I saw something awesome that I just had to have:

If, like me, you grew up in the ’80s, I’m pretty sure it was required that your mother drank these as her alcoholic drink of choice. So what a better tribute to Mom this Mother’s Day Eve than to have one (or four) of these in her honor.

Keep up with Travels with Choppy on Facebook and Twitter!
Choppy also has her own Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

I didn’t grow up in the 80’s – I was the Mom drinking them. Thanks for the memories 🙂

You’re welcome! And I really do think it was pretty universal that moms drank them. Kids today just aren’t going to know what it was like.

I’m going to try to avoid YouTube right now, or I think I know what my evening would be spent watching!

It does seem like it might be something that was limited to the States (and maybe Canada).

It is definitely the best kind of math!

I think I’ll stick to straight wine! Very thoughtful tribute to your Mom though. We have Mothers’ Day in March.

I never realized this difference until this year. For whatever reason, I have seen a lot of people discussing it!. And I will likely go back to wine – but these are seriously good!

Wine coolers are seriously the most underrated drink ever. Except for the lack of alcohol. That part is not so awesome.

I think my sister can still get drunk on purple passion and boone’s. Sometimes I wish my tolerance was lower.

Oh, Boone’s. I haven’t had Boone’s in a while.
