It’s the week in review – not just Choppy this week!
It’s finally warm enough to drink outside again (OK, almost warm enough). We spent a little time at my parents’ this week – which meant Choppy exhausted herself by chasing animals and getting in trouble.Another sign of spring – it’s almost time for the lilacs to bloom (OK, almost time). In case you’re wondering, Choppy is not allowed on this carpet – hence all the pictures of her right next the carpet, but not quite on the carpet.Choppy on squirrel and rabbit patrol from the backseat of the car. None were seen nor caught.
Ha! Seeing Choppy at the bottom of the stairs reminds me of our previous dog. He always slept at the bottom of the stairs, so when we moved to a bungalow, he was very confused! (He adopted an armchair instead and thought we hadn’t noticed) 🙂
It’s a Capital Supper Club. Capital is a brewery right down the street from where I work and grew up. They have a lot of beers, but as a non-beer drinker, I tend to stick with their lighter fare (Supper Club is a lager).
Nice post Sarah. Glad you got to go see your parents. The lilacs are done here in Arkansas, looks as if those in your picture will be in full bloom soon. Enjoy Spring.
I will definitely enjoy it – though I am anxious to get to summer. Spring here is too unpredictable for me – I want to know that I can eat outside every night, like I can in summer. This time of year, you never know what you’re going to get from one day to the next!
Ha! It doesn’t last long there, either. She seems to think she can run through the room to get to the door (because it’s not like she is lying on the carpet in that case). And she gradually sneaks in the longer we sit in there.
I just pruned 3 vases full of lilacs for my home. They are super smelly. Love it. Choppy is sure a well behaved girl. No way my boys would stay off the rug!
So, this is the first post on your blog that I’ve read and I am shocked to see that Choppy is a spitting image of our dog Molly. How crazy! I was a little thrown looking at your photos because it could be my dog in this pictures! LOL! I see we both have excellent taste in dogs!
Seriously? I am going to have to stalk your blog for pictures of her. Because I am far too obsessed about my dog (obviously, if you looked around at all and saw the sheer number of pictures of her dressed up around here, that would be obvious).

What can beat an ice-cold beer outside on a summer’s day? 🙂

Pretty much nothing. Maybe wine and champagne outside on summer’s day?

So well-behaved – keeping off the rug. That would never happen here…. 🙂

It doesn’t last too long – she runs through that room to get to a door, and the longer we’re in there, the further into the room she sneaks!
