No, not the underwear kind. Get your head out of the gutter! (Mostly because now I am pretty sure what I am going to use for the letter “u” – and you’ll need to have it firmly planted there in a few day).

Keep up with Travels with Choppy on Facebook and Twitter!

Very appropriate seeing as it’s our Grand National today (not that I follow it, more of the Boat Race, which is also today!)

I had no idea!! I love it when I am timely without meaning to be (which happens about as much as I manage to plan for it)!

Yes, please! It would give me an excuse to buy a hat (for me. And for her, for that matter)!

Choppy may not be the fastest horse in the race, but at least her jockey is enjoying the ride. Choppy looks so much like my daughter’s dog. And my daughter’s dog is very slow and lazy, of course she is older. nice picture and post.

Choppy is getting lazier as she gets older (not that she has ever been the spriest dog in the world – she likes to sleep in even more than I do)!

Love the outfit, but yes, clearly no greyhound in her background!

Every day, those pleading eyes say “not again”! Will she get peace on 1st May? But what will we do without Choppy and her outfits after A to Z is over?

Oh, the outfits will continue – don’t worry! They just might not be every day!

Is that picture on the black and white challenge on your site your pup? If so, there is a major resemblance!

At the county fair they had monkeys racing dogs. .. Not sure if I need to say more. ..

I have wanted to see this FOREVER. I have only been able to watch videos online. (Note: I will probably find out it is cruel and then feel bad about my desire to see it, but seriously. Monkeys. Riding. Dogs.)

I’m all there with you! I don’t think it’s crewl, everyone looked happy and well cared for. Lake County fair (usually in aug) in Grayslake had them last year. Not a far drive from you. 😄

Oh, that is well within driving distance to see something like this! (That there would be fair food involved can’t hurt matters, either.)

I am sure she will be a great buddy for any jockeys 😉
BTW, may I know where did you get the jockey and the set? They look so cute (Choppy too of course 😀 ) !

I got it at Target – but it was at least three or four years ago. I would think there might still be some available online somewhere.

Nevermind if she can’t run fast. Just go for a slow racing and I’m sure she will win a champ back home 😉

I think she’ll have to do that – her racing life will probably never involve going pro!
