I love Las Vegas – the first time we went, I was in high school, and I have gone back many, many times since. I don’t gamble much – if at all – while I am there. Instead, I haunt fancy restaurants, the shows and shops on my trips. I’ve spent time there on spring break, with my family, with my friends and with Paul (long before we were dating, let alone married).
Of course I was going to take Choppy there.
I’ve written about this before – but I did have some more pictures to put up. So, without further ado…

I did not know dogs were allowed in casinos! I will tell my People to book a trip immediately.

I don’t know the rules at all the casinos, but we were at Rio (which is very dog-friendly) and we had to go through the casino just to get to the doggy area outside! Choppy also learned how to use an escalator on that trip. It was…not her favorite.
As for the Strip, dogs aren’t allowed except at designated times of the day. Or so I learned after the fact, as I just took Choppy in the middle of the day and no one said anything.

Good to know, thank you. Maybe I will try my hand at the Atlantic City blackjack tables first, since it is closer.

I think Choppy prefers craps.

I love Vegas too and I don’t gamble at all, except for maybe $20 bucks on a slot machine. I just love the atmosphere and the pools and the shows. It’s a great weekend getaway!

Exactly! I have no idea when people find the time to gamble. I’m so busy with everything else, I don’t even have time to gamble.
