Today’s Throwback Thursday takes us back to Pedernales Falls State Park in Texas – not that you can see the waterfall from this picture. You’ll just have to believe that it was quite pretty.

Pedernales Falls State Park is still on our bucket list, and now that we live close by, I really hope to see it soon this year.

If you go, I would not suggest a weekend – it was very crowded. Still worth the trip, though!

Since we’re retired and it’s only a 45-minute drive, we can practically go any day we want.

Then definitely go on a weekday! If it’s warm, all the better – we got rather wet, and we weren’t even swimming. Then again, when you are chasing after a dog, this tends to be something that happens fairly often.
