Apart from hotel quarantine, we have zero cases and zero deaths and no evidence of local transmission. The people and workers in hotel quarantine are under intense scrutiny. For now, it appears our suppression strategy has been successful. My main concern is complacency with quarantine and fraudulent behaviour which we’ve seen in small volumes. Our states and territories have mostly enacted new legislation to secure enhanced law enforcement capability to ensure their residents are protected.

Thanks, Alice. I hope so to. I can’t see easy international travel now for many years. Probably not a bad thing in terms of looking after our environment.
