Are they best friends? No. Are they getting along? Most of the time (they’re still trying to figure out how to play with each other – clearly, they don’t speak the same language, but they’re working on finding an understanding).

I’Il bet Schooner trains Flapjack to warm up sleeping spots, then smacks Flapjack away to get the warmth – that’s what our two cats did to our doggie 😂

He hasn’t figured that one out yet – though I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time!

Silence is golden, understanding each other is wonderful. How about Rudy & Sparky?

Sparky mostly ignores Flapjack, but Schooner tries to play with Sparky. Sparky wants NONE of that (and they currently have the worst relationship in the house). Rudy and Schooner are good, as are Rudy and Sparky (but those two have lived together a long time, so that’s to be expected). Rudy is terrified of Flapjack and thus avoids him all the time, so I’m not sure Flapjack even knows he exists.

Oh, that’s cute. Glad they are figuring it out… 🙂

Schooner and Flapjack are good – now, we just worry about Schooner and Sparky – those two are NOT friends.

Yes, adult cats (particularly of the same sex and older, I find) seldom adjust well to each other. It can be quite rancorous!

Maybe they will get acquainted even better over the tie.

Sparky & Rudy are both males? And ‘intruders…’..It’s understandable there are going to be issues.
