Cute comment but I have found that sometimes a map is essential if you don’t have a precise address. My GPS put me into the middle of an orange grove in California in dark. I was totally lost. Just me and my little dog.

Someone once said “Maps have almost everything on them. Countries, states or counties; bodies of water, rivers, streams; topography, elevation; a legend to compute mileage and distances; population information for major cities; insets for streets. Almost everything.
Everything except directions on how to fold them back up.
