You sure you don’t live in the arctic?

Right?! Paul’s garden was destroyed by an iceberg.

You need a summer home. 🙂

Or a winter home in a warmer location!

I wondered with all the flooding how your yard looks – lots of water there – bet the ducks are happy.
Does it ever threaten to flood your house? It seems so close.

It doesn’t ever get too close to the house – we sit way up high. The photo angle doesn’t really show it. Before we moved in, there were huge floods in the town, and the previous owners told us the water never threatened the house, even then, when our downtown was underwater.
Knock on wood, it’s a nice, dry house – we don’t even have a sump pump in the basement!

Knock wood, yes! Glad you’re set on high ground. 🙂

Snow must be pretty much gone, now. Our ‘new in Nov.’ submersible pump was on often…water table remains very high.
