I assume with all that licking and grooming, Schooner would smell more like saliva.

Oh, what to do
When your cat smells of poo?
Will the dishwasher mend
Our stinking feline friend?
Would a car wash be better to address this ill?
Perhaps a car wash would be overkill.
The clothes washer may suffice,
Though afterwards your clothes may smell like mice.
Perhaps a nice dip in a tidal pool?
We can invite him, but Schooner’s no fool.
I think a hose and a bucket is best,
Though cat may say “Surely, you jest!”.
Some soap and some claws, and a little blood, too.
Bath time for Schooner, and he’s good as new!
