Things are slowly getting back to normal around here. I’m finished with Camp NaNoWriMo, 50,000 words after where I started on July 1. I’ve done it before, and every time I do, I am glad I did it. I am also glad it’s over!

Congratulations on the walks AND especially the words. Discipline is never to be sneezed at and it takes tremendous discipline to complete such a challenge. Now breathe!!

Sarah….you do like to “keep track of stuff”…I can kinda relate..I have a “Yarden Book”….on the right page I keep track of everything I buy at the nursery…..date, ….names of plants, etc…on the left page, what I,ve put in which planters, what kind of earth I use & fertilizer…which plants are coming up, blooming & first day I see Hummingbirds, Monarchs, etc. In the back: which produce I pick…most gets weighed….It’s fun to look back.

That is a fantastic idea! This year, I finally made a garden map of where things are in the garden and what they are. It has been extremely helpful. I would love to be able to look back on things like the first day I saw specific birds – right now, I just have to hope I made a note in my journals (which are NOT easy to look through).

It’s a large (composition book) ….writing ‘stuff’ down, makes me even more aware…keeps ones brains busy…I write totals for what I spent….added it up for last year 😮😮😬😁🙄 . I justify that it’s good to have something organized.
