Schooner is not being terribly nice here (although if we were to let Choppy eat as much as she wanted, “fat” would probably not be an adequate word to describe what her size would be).

I’m shocked he hasn’t already tried to get into his food – we keep it on an open shelf.

Sadly Choppy, that approach will not lead to everlasting happiness.

But it will lead to temporary happiness!

I’m not so sure that is a good idea, Choppy!

It’s a good thing we are here to regulate Choppy’s food intake. That said, she randomly didn’t eat a few bits of her food this morning, because I headed outside to water plants and she wasn’t going to miss that. She seemed to forget about the food when we came back, and a few minutes later Schooner had discovered it. He made short work of it – apparently, he is far more willing to eat dog food than your usual cat.

I have to regulate, juggle and isolate in this house. Three pets on different diets and not supposed to eat outside their designated bowls. That, of course, is only the human point of view!

Us humans and our desire to keep the animals from eating all the things they want to eat.

We do have purposes – even when those purposes are at odds with what these two want from life.

That sounds like a perfect plan to us

These two are upset that we keep thwarting their ability to eat as much as they would like.

Fatty Mc Fat Fat. HAHAHA Tippy is funny about her food. Somedays she eats breakfast. Sometimes she doesn’t. If she doesn’t, I just leave it out until dinner and she usually doesn’t touch it. If she does, it is because dad has let her in the house and put a treat in the food bowl for her. She’s really good about self-regulating her eating. Wish I could say the same about myself. 😉

Schooner is open fed. I used to open feed Choppy, but stopped when we were on the road, because I wanted to make sure she ate enough.
That said, Choppy randomly didn’t eat all her breakfast this morning (she got distracted and went outside). I later discovered someone eating what Choppy left – Schooner! (And yet Choppy leaves Schooner’s food alone – I always thought it was supposed to be the other way around, with the dog eating the cat’s food.)
