They are big! I guess too big to worry about Choppy. 🙂

They are definitely tall – not quite ostriches or emus, but they pretty much win around here for tallest birds.

They are aware, but intent on foraging…..and can fly if need be, to be free.

We had two fly right over us this morning on our walk. Always a beautiful sight (and then they honked/croaked and were slightly less attractive – they do not sound the prettiest of the birds. I imagine that is what dinosaurs sounded like).
