Is it just me, or does Choppy look like she’s worried about us taking her out in this?

Oooh! What a beauty she is (and Choppy too, of course 😉) 🛶 🐕

She looks ready to roll to me. So long as Schooner stays ashore, that is. 😃

Part of me is intrigued by the idea of Schooner in a canoe. Part of me is terrified of the idea.

He’d be the turd rocking it back and forth, I’d imagine. 😃😃

Ahoy! Choppy girl, you are quite the sea worthy sailor! ❤

We’ll see how she fares on the actual seas!

To me, Choppy looks like she is saying don’t even think about going out in this thing without me!

We’ll see how she likes it out on the water. She’s been on one canoe before, but she wasn’t terribly fond of it.

No choppy water for Choppy!

I’ll second that – I’m not a fan of choppy water in the canoe!

I expect she’s a natural adventurer – at least we know she can do the dog paddle if there’s a spill. 😉

I’ll try to keep her from having to do the dog paddle!

……..and she can use her tail as a rudder! Beautiful canoe! A long ti,e ago…we went up to little Lake Sebago, to visit friends for a day….3 young kids & a large Golden Retriever, we went in a rowboat….he decided to swim after us, when we left shore…so dragged him into the boat, as well 🤣🙄😮

What a fun story! Choppy has been in a canoe once. She didn’t really like it, but I wasn’t in there with her. I suspect she would be better about it if I was in there with her (and not standing on shore looking at her).

Great canoe you have there.

Still need to break it in!

Choppy needs to head down here to Florida and canoe on the Tampa Bay!

Now that would be an excellent time!

Oh, cool! Choppy is the rower, and Schooner the helmsman. 😆

And I’ll be the one responsible for keeping them from tipping the boat over!

She does look worried. I see new photos with Captain Choppy and XO Schooner.

I’m not sure Schooner will ever get a chance to go in the canoe on open water. I’m not sure he would let us live through the experience.

Good thing there’s FedEX & UPS…..that would not fit in your mailbox….

Ha! Definitely not! It actually came on the back of a semi-truck – apparently it was too big for FedEx and UPS, too.

😮😁😬 I guess they both can not ever advertise: “No Package is too Big for Us”

How are you going to get it to ‘water? On a semi?

Nope – it weighs about 60 pounds, and we can put it on the top of my car easily. Plus, it’s not terribly far to the water in the backyard!

It looks to me like Choppy is thinking “Thank you guys so much for this HUGE food bowl. It is shaped a little funny, but it might be convenient to actually sit in my food bowl while I eat. I’m guessing these shelves are for bacon?”

She looks a little concerned!

She has been in a canoe once before – perhaps she knows how easy they are to tip over.

She does look a little concerned, but maybe she is just wondering where the water is? It is a very nice canoe! Bet you’ll have lots of fun with it.

I’m looking forward to finally getting out in it.

She does look a bit worried. I see that schooner avoided it completely.

Schooner seems to know there is a good chance for an unexpected bath if he gets in it (at least while on the water).

We loved your Florida travel guide but remember well one trip to a park in Florida have they had canoes for rent in a body of water that had all kinds of warning signs about alligators. That would be a NO.

I’d be with you on shore!

Nah…she’s thinking wow this is the cleanest canoe I’ve ever seen! Happy sails and tails.

It is – for now! It’s only because it’s new and yet to be used.
