We were in Pennsylvania this weekend, which gave me a chance to bring in a guest star – Rudy – for tonight’s Midnight Mutts post.
(Also for those who are looking for a Dog Walk Challenge post, they’re changing to Thursday posts for Year 3 – so look for the first one on Thursday).

A double arm rest. Rudy morphing into the sofa.

If he could morph into the sofa (and guarantee someone would bring him food), he probably would.

I’m not sure he has many other options for posing – he is a rather large kitty.

Rudy is handsomely at ease☺

He is – and you can’t see how big he is this way (he is not a small cat).

Ooh..now that you have pointed that out, you are right, it cannot be seen in the picture. I like big cats in that they appear less fragile to me. Haha! Rudy would be run to play with 🙂

He would love to have more people to play with – he may be large, but he has lots of energy.

I think it is his breed and it is rare to get large breed of cats. Now Garfield’s largeness is different as he is lazy LOL! Just as Jim Davis created him. Haha! I wish I could give Rudy a great big Garfield Hug!

Schooner never does it here – I wonder if he will start as he gets older.

Sweet face – he looks so soft!

He is a soft kitty – he also has a very short tail, which is adorable (though odd for me, as Schooner has an extra long tail).

Maybe he is Manx? My favorite cat breed and hard to come by. As short tails are a mutation, they come in all lengths.

I regularly talk about all the different tail lengths – enough so that we measured the tails of Schooner and Paul’s mom’s cats. Rudy (the gray one) had a 9 inch tail, Sparky (her other cat) had a 10 or 11 inch one. Schooner beat them all with a 14 inch long tail!
Oh, and his sister has a tailless cat, but it’s not a manx – the cat had an unfortunate run-in with a car as a kitten, and the tail was a victim.

Oh i thought its the new girlfriend of Schooner. 😉 Some years before our cat brought a female cat. He only accepted her four weeks. Every day he saw her sleeping and eating but he wants her to go out into the garden. At least the nice kitty was away. No one saw her or heared about her anymore. 😉 Michael

Definitely not Schooner’s girlfriend – Rudy is actually a boy (though perhaps they could be a modern couple).
