This picture is from a couple weeks ago – I just love the picture (even with the snow). We had a wonderful walk that morning. There were bluebirds everywhere, presumably hanging out near us until the snow melted north of us. White pelicans similarly swam in the river, waiting to head north to Canada for the summer. The temperature was finally warm again and we put in a couple extra miles that morning. It was about as great a morning for a walk as you can ask for (I mean, other than that snow).

Sounds like a near perfect day. Just get rid of that snow and you’d have it. 🙂 Choppy looks like she is surveying her kingdom. Tippy tends to do that too, even if it isn’t really “her” kingdom she is surveying.

We’re lucky enough to live near some great walking paths – we don’t even have to get in the car to enjoy the vast majority of the places we take pictures.
