Remember last week when I complained about the lack of spring-like weather in my Dog Walk Challenge post? I should have been counting my blessings, as we now have a foot of snow on the ground.
Also – please remind me of these complaints when I am complaining about the heat in July and August. I much prefer the heat to this sort of weather in April.

Sorry Choppy and Sarah,
Thinking of your down here in warm and sunny Florida ! Soon it will be nice up your way (hopefully) ! I know it is a bit depressing right now to have snow in mid April. Things will change.

I hope so – we got several more inches of snow today. My drive home this evening was slightly harrowing!

It’s seems like a good portion of people are getting some kind of nasty weather. Whether it is ran, sleet, snow, or all of the above. We has all of it at one point.

So did we – did you get the bad snow? We got hammered (not like Green Bay, but still – anything above trace snow at this time of year is unacceptable).

Not doing so well this month as last Sarah due to going away for a few days and doing little in the walking stakes. The miles are clocking up though, it’s surprising how quickly they do.
Your stats are looking great.

By her expression, I’m guessing Choppy likes August weather better too. Poor thing, with her paw up.

She looked particularly depressed here – though I will say she has been doing a lot of rolling around in snow for someone who looked so sad and pathetic in this picture.

Seriously freaky weather with winter definitely refusing to leave. I guess it will be winter and straight into summer(?)

That seems to be the case – but boy, will I be glad when it is summer!

We’re definitely hitting 900 miles for the year – we’ll see how much above that we go (not much, if it keeps snowing).

We had a sunny day yesterday but they keep talking snow here too!

I am optimistic that our snow this week was the last of it – the weather forecast going forward is great. That said, I can still see a lot of snow out there, so we have a fair bit to melt yet.

WE have had so much sun this week!

I think that has showed up here – hardly a cloud in the sky today.

Oh….bye, bye snow! It will melt, soon!

It just keeps coming – we’ve already gotten 4 or 5 inches today, and it’s still snowing out there!

Yes, it’s been feeling more like December than April. One must have faith that warm temps will return!

I’m looking at our weather forecast for the weekend and there is a two digit number involving a number 6 that is tempting me to believe warm weather is coming. It is, however, hard to believe when we got 4-5 more inches of snow today, and it’s still snowing out there.

Save the snow for the summer when you need it

I’d be OK with heading somewhere without snow. Key West, for example.

Choppy does look like she is about over that white stuff. A whole foot of snow this time of year. That has to be unusual. I hope it melts quickly and you get warmer weather soon. It seems there is crazy weather everywhere this spring.

Oh, great job on racking up the mileage!

We do tend to get our biggest snowfalls at the beginning and end of winter – the rest of winter, it’s too cold to snow a lot (I have to remember – I prefer this over the awful cold – I should definitely complain less!).

Holy cow !!! Well, with all the crazy weather, you and Choppy have still done really well with your walks !!! Well done !!! and yes, I wish you some sun soon !!! 🙂
