I skipped a video for February because I missed two days of the Backyard View thanks to being on vacation. But it’s back now, with updates for March pictures. As you can see, the weather here has no idea what it wants to do. There are frozen pond pictures, unfrozen pond pictures, snow, no snow, etc. I’m hoping we’re past the frozen pond pictures now that it’s April, but based on how this year has gone so far, I’m not counting on it!
Backyard View: March 2018

March is very fickle, isn’t it? But generally, April is great. Not this year though, huh? π

Not so far this year! Then again, as the weather has decided to be awful, even middling weather in April will make it seem great.

That last shot showing crystal-clear reflection of trees is awesome!

Thanks! I love a nice, calm morning – I got another one this morning (though I would be happier with the shot if it didn’t have any snow in it).

Seems like it’s moving in the right direction even if there is some backsliding. I agree with Eliza…that tree reflection shot is lovely!

There is a general move toward warmth – though I took this week’s picture this morning and there is some snow in it (not much, but still – I would rather not have it!).

Thanks! I finally think I have the making of them figured out. Now, I just need to come up with some good music so they aren’t just a slideshow.

Lovely view. I am doing my front view-from-bedroom-window weekly this year, but will post at the end of the year, mine’s not as pretty as yours. Wonder if I can get them to blow a hole in the marsh and convert it to a lake π

I am excited to see it – even if I have to wait many months.

The weather is kind-of fickle, isn’t it? Hope you are past the frozen pond, snow covered yard stage for the year.

I took the weekly picture this morning. No ice, but there are definitely some snowy remnants still out there.

Me too! I have plans to do some more planting back there this year. Hopefully it will add even more color than last year.

Gosh there is a lot of freezing and melting going on there! Hopefully, as you say, the freezing is done with now! Spring has got to arrive at Some point! π

Every time I think we’re past the snow, it starts again. And you guys have had it much worse up there than we have had it!

Ugh! All the worst parts of spring and winter. I guess at least it didn’t snow? That’s sort of a consolation?

Yaay!! Now to find a service apartmemt near there and seek your permission to fish there for next vacation. And we can balance cooked fish n chips on Choppy’s head after it has cooled downπβΊ

You would have a great time fishing – and Choppy would have an even better time eating fish and chips!
