At the end of last week, our morning walks were accompanied by the rising sun. Thanks to the time change, we’re back to seeing stars in the morning. I’m not thrilled by the change, but we’ll see the sun again in a couple weeks. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy the sun in the evenings.

As you can see, most of our snow is gone again.

Thanks – no plans to stop any time soon. Less than two months until Year 3 starts!

Glad your snow has all gone. Seems we can expect the return of The Beast from the East, so I’m getting as much walking in as I can before then!

It snowed (unexpectedly) this morning – we’re white again. I suspect it won’t last more than a few hours, though.

Three nor’easters in less than 2 wks leaves us with lots of snow, but it has melted a lot between storms. Are your crocus up yet? I spied snowdrops yesterday, but buried now under the latest storm. Soon come, mon. 🙂

Not even a peep of a leaf from our crocus (and I planted a lot more this last fall). I’ll have to ask my mom about snowdrops – I don’t have any. I think you’re still ahead of us, despite all your bad weather.

Still no snow in MDT (ugh). And no sunshine early either. Getting up at oh-dark-thirty is not for the faint of heart. Enjoy those sunset walks.

I will – though I miss our sunrise ones. On the plus side, I had a great view of the milky way for the start of our walk this morning.

You are doing great. What was your goal for the year again? I know I’ve asked that about 3 times, but I keep forgetting. LOL We had some heavy, pretty snow showers yesterday, but very little stuck around – only on a few grassy spots. I’m ready for spring, sunshine, and warmer weather.

Our goal was to average 2 miles, with a minimum of 1 mile per day. We can’t actually miss the first of those at this point. And only about 7 weeks of daily walks to get to the second.

I thought you were overachieving!

We definitely are – though I don’t think we’ll be adding anything for Year 3. I think this is about as much as we can do without quitting work!

Ted can’t wait to get walking again. We’re in a blizzard right now ❄️❄️❄️

Ugh! Here’s hoping it has stopped snowing so you can get outside.

A temporary reprieve, at least!

I am glad you are doing so much walking. You are walking for us so we don’t have to

We are happy to take on walks for others – I just wish we had even more time to walk.

The two changes have their pros and cons – it is nice to have light in the evenings again!
