Schooner: still not clear on the concept that he is not supposed to be on the bathroom counter or in the bathroom sink.

…….but what a ‘purrrrrfect’ fit! Funny that he didn’t jump out when you came in & took a pic……obviously he ‘owns’ that place!

Usually he does – I think he’s getting bolder (/knows if he doesn’t get out, he gets picked up and put out, which allows him to be extra lazy).

A nest with hot ‘n’ cold water on tap! Purrrrrrfect!

So long as no one turns them on with a kitty in there. I don’t think the consequences would be good for that person.

Your sink is unfortunately perfectly Schooner-shaped, Sarah. Might as well give up now. 🙂

This is a fight I will win! (Or at least continue fighting, even in the face of futility.)

Awwww….but it fits me perfectly, plus it’s a good hideout from Choppy 🙂

………puuuufect base for a revenge jump…..not that Schooner would do that….

It’s a good hideout until someone turns on the water, at least!

My cat alsways spent hot summer days in the bathroom sink. I guess for her it was the coolest place in my flat. 🙂

I think Schooner just likes breaking the rules – because it’s definitely not hot around here right now.

Rules for cats? I don’t think so 😂🙃😉

……how would you ‘punish’ them……’nap-time-out?!😹”

Ha! I’m still working on imposing them. I am convinced I can turn Schooner into a dog. Or at least a dog-like being.

Having had several flat/house sharing cats, the word that springs to mind is ‘delusional’ but I wish you luck anyway! 🤣

The rule-following attempts thus go well with my hopes to get Schooner fully clothed, a la Choppy.

Scooner probably wants a bath!

I’ll let you turn on the water and find out – I don’t want to reap the consequences of that action!

This seems to be his thought process, no matter how many times he gets thrown out of it.

I’d like to counter that comment with the observation that your cat is sinking to a new low!😂

I think we could find him somewhere else in the house where he fits perfectly – I just don’t like him in the sink!

I rarely catch him in the sink – he knows I don’t approve. You’d have to ask someone else in the house what it’s like to brush with him in there (because that person does exist).
