It’s the last day of January and therefore the last day to celebrate Hobby Month! Based on what Choppy considers a hobby, though, perhaps we should be glad they waited until now to celebrate.

Taking pictures of them is a good hobby though!

A hobby I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of!

Leave it up to you, Choppy girl, to combine a hobby and exercise. This must be one reason why you and Schooner are in such good shape!

For now – I worry Schooner will get lazy and become a fat cat. It seems like something he could be fine with.

Actually – LM would agree with Choppy that chasing cats is an excellent hobby! 😀

My parents’ poor cat is the one who bears the brunt of this with Choppy – she runs, and it just encourages Choppy!

Yep – It’s all the cat’s fault! 😀

My dog is like that too. Not a full day until she chases a cat up a tree. 😃😃

Any cat Choppy isn’t familiar with quickly becomes familiar with a nearby tree if Choppy is around. Ones she knows are typically left alone (though my parents’ cat gets chased, because she tends to run).

Chasing cats is not a good hobby…….not fun for kitties…., cats have sharp nails & doggy noses are delicate….

It usually ends worse for the dog – at least in my experience. Choppy’s as well.

If it isn’t a hobby Choppy, it’s a good form of exercise.

Hm. A hobby, or a vocation?

It is, in reality, probably more of the latter!

If they go fast enough, it just becomes a blur of doggy/cat/doggy/cat

If they do it, it really is fast – and usually short-lived.

Or the other way around? 😀

It does tend to go both ways around our house – thankfully, they don’t try to chase each other at the same time.

I think Abby Lab finds carrying her stuffed animals around the house her full time hobby.

That must be a cute hobby to observe 😁

It’s an adorable hobby – much better than chasing other living things in the house.

This one really made me laugh! Once again, Schooner has the purrfect look.

I’m glad you liked it! Choppy is better behaved for photos, but Schooner does give me good looks.

If she wants to pursue this as a hobby, she will do so at her own risk.

Oh, come on, Choppy! 🙂 There are much better hobbies than chasing poor ole Schooner. 😉

Hobby, vocation or job? That’s a tough question to answer.

I think modeling is Choppy’s hobby although chasing Schooner is probably up there too.
