Who has their Christmas cards finished and sent? Do you all see me not raising my hand? Because I sure don’t have them done. I’m just going to use today as a reminder to get cracking on them, and use it as an excuse to show off last year’s Christmas card.

I enjoy this time of year – it’s the only time of year when the envelopes coming in the mail don’t involve bills and other unpleasantness!

I used to trick myself into getting grading done by banding papers into groups of five, and working till just those were done…I use the same philosophy with Christmas cards (which I enjoy doing once I get started….) I do those in batches of ten and then reward myself by changing what I’m doing….

That’s my normal strategy with things – I definitely should employ it for Christmas cards, too – and it will encourage me to just get started, as well (which for me is half the battle).

I think having Thanksgiving early this year helped me get the task done earlier than last year. Put the last ones in the mail yesterday. 🙂

Ironic you posted this today; I’m actually doing my cards in between catching up on blog posts reading sine Im pulling addresses from my contacts. Gotta love multi-tasking, right? LOVE last year’s card-I may have to steal that idea next year. 😉

It’s tough enough to get these two to pose – I’m not sure we need anyone else in them!
And there might be more in store for actual Christmas – but we have to keep that a surprise!

We feel awful that ours can’t be sent til around the 18th (no moolah!! lol)…….but…we are sending out email ones for now. This holiday seems to have snuck up on everyone!

Cute card from last year. Does Schooner understand that his bah humbug attitude is probably what got him on the naughty list to begin with? I have started my cards, but not finished. My plan is to do at least 4 a day until completed. I did that one day, and then skipped a day, but did 5 today. I’m such an overachiever. LOL
