I wish I would have gotten a better picture of the big bull – he was in the woods.

Thanks – it was great to see all the elk. You definitely know you’re not at home when you see them!

Not sure why, but wild animals in their natural habitat always have a calming effect and bring a simple sense of joy to life. Their beauty and interaction is so much fun to watch and experience.

They really do – I could watch our bird feeders for hours. It’s one of those simple things, which makes a huge positive impact. And those are small creatures. Seeing the larger ones only seems to increase that great feeling.

I’ve seen them in several places – it never gets old to see them in the wild.

I feel the same with the squirrels I´m feeding from time to time – though they are admittedly much smaller 😉

Smaller, but very, very cute (except when they are eating out of the bird feeders instead of their own feeder in our backyard).

Maybe they simply prefer the location of your bird feeder over their own, or its the food 😉 What do you feed them? “Mine” are getting walnuts, hazelnuts and peanuts. 🙂 🐿

Ours get corn, sunflower seeds, and peanuts. I think they eat the sunflower seeds first, then raid the sunflower seed bird feeders for more.

Sounds like a pretty good mix to me, but I know of squirrels that only eat sunflower seeds too… seems you´ve got some of those 😉
