From our recent trip to Colorado – a picture from the drive we took over the Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. The day was incredibly windy – so much so it was difficult to walk – but that didn’t make the scenery any less spectacular.
On the Road: Over the Trail Ridge Road

Stunning, just stunning 😊

It really was amazing – though you don’t get to see the crazy winds that were up there. It felt like you were going to blow away!

It was a really windy (and cold) day up there – the next day, they ended up closing the road temporarily because it snowed!

I think the picture exaggerates how close we were to the edge. 😉

As do I – such a big contrast from the flat land where we live.

It’s almost always windy on Trail Ridge Road. But always spectacular too.

It was so windy, we could hardly walk around – but definitely worth the attempts to do so, to see the scenery.
