I’m thinking, based on Choppy’s ‘expression’, that she too, is a not understanding how dots managed to get their own day. Oh, and heading over to Amazon to get my copy of Corny Dog Jokes :-).
Choppy went to Mom & Dad Camp on this vacation – we didn’t have the time to drive, so she has to hang out in the countryside, chasing squirrels and the like. I don’t think she misses us much!
I agree with everyone else. Choppy also seems a little bit confused about this howliday too. But, she does such a great job with balancing things on her head and body in general. I think Tippy would NOT stand for that. LOL Okay, my curiosity got the best of me and I googled International Dot Day. I like what I found. Turns out, it is a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration, which began when teacher Terry Shay introduced his classroom to Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot on September 15, 2009. The Dot is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing.
The holiday may make no sense, but dots sure do look nice on Choppy. So, you know– why not celebrate dots?

Great idea for a Choppy costume – she looks good in polka dots. 😉
Have a great vacation. Does Choppy go, too, or is she going to Izzy Camp?
