Thursday was White Wine Day – the beer drinkers apparently were jealous and took Friday for themselves. They did plan better, though. Drinking on a day when you don’t have to go to work the next day is far superior than drinking on a day when you do!
Slaughter was a pædiatrician and Death was a renal physician. I was in medical school with a bloke whose family name was Grubbe, when we graduated he changed it to Grant.
Ha! We do have a family of lawyers around here (and a former judge) whose last name is Crooks. Funny enough, I never even thought about it until a non-lawyer pointed it out to me!
I assume that this is a statutory holiday in Wisconsin. 🙂

It has to be – apparently, I have one of those necessary jobs, though, because I’ll be at the office.

She is! Schooner is probably going to enjoy all the flying ping pong balls.

Choppy & Schooner will just have water & a 🥓🥓 treat on the side…the humans might be “kegging!”

We have to keep the pets away from the booze!

Time for HIGH-er studies!!! Well, God forbid if Schooner gets high, he might think of himself as a lion and Choppy as a deer.. :-O

I don’t think that would end well for Schooner!

Choppy looks a little drunk. But Schooner as a good man keeps himself back. LOL

Choppy may have been at the beer – we didn’t catch her, but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t at it!

Cheers Choppy and Schooner. Happy beer day. When I was 5, it was Dr Beer who removed my tonsils.

Better than Dr Bear…he might have removed more 😮

I think Choppy is going to win this one. She seems more prepared the Schooner.

It was clearly not Choppy’s first game of beer pong.

I am a day late, but how did that beer day go? Hope Choppy was well prepared and didn’t have too much of a sore head this morning!

No drunken antics occurred on the part of either humans or animals on International Beer Day!
