I think more people would be optimistic and see the light at the end of the tunnel if there were dogs to be found at the end of them (as well as light).

So I’ve heard – the river behind our house has been over its banks all summer. Usually by this point in the summer, it’s pretty dry in our backyard, but it’s definitely a swamp out there still.

This is so bizarre: on Channel 4 in Boston, the news, on Wednesdays, there is a part about adopting children….so they interviewed a young boy, about 8, who was adopted by a loving family. The boy says: “there is a light at the end of the tunnel! ” 😍
