Eventually a person comes by and feels sorry for him – though Schooner would have been content to sit in there forever, so long as someone played with him under the door.

I see many kitty paws under the door – and I can’t say I don’t encourage it, because I do. It’s to the point where Schooner will scoot things under the door so I will play with him on the other side.
