Oops…. but that is so cute 🙂

So long as no one gets injured while poorly dancing, I’ll count that as a win.

Haha I bet they dance when no-one is watching 🙂

They probably also know not to do it when the camera is on them. 😉

Lots of Cats can jump up & do twirlies in the air, Dogs, too.

Even in her puppiest of puppy days, there wasn’t much twirling in the air for Choppy!
Schooner, now, that’s a different matter. We can get some twirlies out of him at any time, with the right motivation!

Oh, I think we need a video of them dancing. They would be so cute!

I’m not sure they “dance” so much as the “trip over each other in a manner that could be interpreted as dancing badly.”

When my cat and dog run down the stairs it’s synchronized so that’s sort of like dancing on my end too.

And if you take the wrong step, it’s definitely not pretty – very much like dancing!

Schooner might dance if enticed with a feather toy. 🙂

For once, Schooner is not the problem pet – I don’t think Choppy would have danced even in the most active part of her life!

Our dogs are pretty dancy. The ones we had danced with us on our wedding day.

Choppy was at our reception, but I think she stayed off of the dance floor in favor of begging for food. I’m pretty sure she never ate more in her life!

How does Schooner look if you put socks on his paws? It would make for a fun video and it would entertain Choppy I bet.

I have never tried! Those paws are home to some very sharp claws. I think the funny video would be me attempting to get them on and being killed because of it.

The other perhaps less dangerous thing, would be to try to put gaff tape on each paw…
I’m conscious that my suggestions are potentially hazardous to your health Sarah, so please don’t think I’m deliberately trying to maim you with a deadly weapon. I just think it would remove the smug look from Schooner’s face if he didn’t have complete control of his movements 😂

He’s wily – he’d probably figure out how to get out of the tape, too!

Cute. I could see them doing the tango – sort-of a love/hate dance, I think.

It would be amazing if I could get them to do that. Internet gold.

Yes it would be.

That is one trick both boys know how to do.. stand on back legs and spin 😂🤣

I can’t even get Choppy to stand on her back legs – the closest she gets is her hug, where she puts her paws on your shoulders.

I don’t think all dogs want to do it. Maybe it hurts? My last dog wouldn’t.

It must – Choppy is so wiling to do pretty much anything I ask of her, I would think she would do it if it felt OK. Then again, she refuses to hold anything in her mouth for pictures, but is willing to play tug of war for long period of time. So perhaps she just doesn’t want to do it.

Yup. Choppy only wants to do what Choppy wants to do. ☺
